The full-day event examined recent gains and remaining challenges in patient safety and care quality. Attendees heard the perspectives of both those on the front lines of patient safety as well as those outside of this issue in order to encourage new thinking about future priorities and directions for reducing medical errors and improving quality and efficiency of the U.S. health care system.
